SYPHILIS IN PREGNANCY, FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH CONGENITAL SYPHILIS AND NEWBORN CONDITIONS AT BIRTH

ABSTRACT Objectives: to investigate factors associated with the occurrence of congenital syphilis in pregnant women and describe cases this disease regarding justification for notification aspects related newborn. Method: cohort study, data collection between July September 2017 which included 158 diagnosed during pregnancy, reported 2013 2015. The characteristics newborns are presented descriptively. outcome under study was or not syphilis.
